Student
Placement Australia New Zealand facilitates the placement
of young people aged 18 years and over into work,
training and study programs overseas.
We understand that during this busy time in
your life there are many choices you have to
make, so we are trying to make things as easy
as possible for you by outlining our programs below.
Options for School Leavers:
 Student Exchange
If your preference is to attend school and live with a host family
as part of a student exchange program you’ll be interested
to know that many countries do allow students to go
on exchange during a gap year. If you’re interested give us

440 079 (in New Zealand) and our staff will be able to advise you
whether you will be eligible for your preferred destination. Please
note that you must apply whilst you are still at school.
The Live & Learn
program is perfect for people looking to take a gap year. You get
to spend up to 3 months in France, Germany or Brazil; living with
a host family and helping them learn English. The Live & Learn
program allows you to acclimatise to a foreign environment whilst
remaining in a secure and comfortable family environment. This is
a great option to take as a stepping stone to further travels in
Europe or elsewhere in the world!

Do you like kids? Would you like
to spend 12 months in the US, France or Germany? These
Au Pair programs give you the opportunity to live with
a host family in either the USA, France or Germany
and look after the family’s
children. In exchange you get treated as one of the
family with your own furnished bedroom plus you get
pocket money and the opportunity to attend an evening
college.

Use your sporting skills to access generous sports
scholarships to study at an American university. Save
thousands of dollars, developing your sports skills,
and attend a university (often for less than the
cost of attending university in your home country).
Open to recreational or amateur sports men or women
of low, average or high level ability.

The Study USA program is similar to the Sports
Scholarships USA program, with the main difference
being that it focuses solely on your academic abilities. The Study
USA program gives you access to a wide range of generous academic
scholarships from over 120 universities across the US. So if you’ve always
wanted to live and study in the USA and experience America’s
world famous on-campus college lifestyle this program is for you!
