Not quite ready to be an exchange student?

Many people find that hosting an exchange student in their home is a great way to learn more about the world without setting foot outside Australia.

Our host families come in all shapes and sizes. Mum, Dad and kids. Single parents. Childless couples. All these variations on "family" make great hosts to international teenagers.

What is more important is that the host family is motivated and enthusiastic about inviting a new family member into the home. A bed, a quiet place to study, access to a local high school and breakfast/dinner are supplied by the host family along with a warm welcome down-under.

All our host families must be interviewed and reference checked for suitability and to ensure all parties to the exchange understand what's expected of them. We provide orientation, handbooks and a local coordinator to help introduce the student and host family into their new roles.
